    Matt T spruced up the color scheme picker. Matt M tweaked the Classic colors a bit. Deciding whether Classic or Fresh should be the default.

    I reckon the fresh colors should be default… The “classic” colors are a bit too dark, and with such a big change, I think you should just go all the way: change the layout and change the colors

    Definitely go with the new colours.

    The haters can go in and change things back; at least you’ve kept them happy with that option now, and accommodated a consistent way to feature new schemes.

    Fresh by default — let’s go full speed ahead with putting a new face on WordPress. Fresh by default means the standard login screens as well as the new WordPress.org site can be “fresh” as well. Classic is for those old-schoolers among us. :)

    Ok, I’ll wait the new WordPress 2.5. I’ll try new fresh dashboard and sometime use classic dashboard

    2.5’s a fresh release, with a fresh redesign, so why go classic with the colors?

    I hate the Fresh color scheme. It is horrendous. But that said, it’s a new version and a new scheme, so it should be the default. As long as there is the option for us to change it, we’ll be happy campers.
